Visions of life

In cooperation with the artist couple Samson Ogiamen and Stefanie Oettl, TheatreFragile introduced a group of young people to the art of mask play in 2015. Each participant slips into the character they have developed, gets to know it and tells a story about themselves. This alter-ego gives them the freedom to act out their own hidden faces and experience new approaches.

The question of one's own vision and what stands in the way of this vision is at the centre of the workshop and the subsequent performances at the La Strada Festival in Graz.

Here is an excerpt from the Kronenzeitung: "A successful example of community art that carefully yet powerfully addresses current social problems". More under Press, see below.

Team

Visions of Life was directed by Luzie Ackers and Marianne Cornil in co-operation with Samson and Stefanie Ogiamen

The project took place in August 2015 as part of the La Strada festival in Graz.
