Invitation to a listening and sound workshop

On 5 April, TheatreFragile invites you to a listening workshop in Detmold, led by Lasse-Marc Riek. Together we will explore sounds and silence - both indoors and outdoors in woodland surroundings. With a heightened sense of hearing, we will experience the forest from a new perspective.

STILL - new creation in process

Since October 2024, we have been immersed in the forest and researching the relationship between humans and plants. After a creation process that is aligned with the seasons, we will celebrate the premiere on 28 September 2025.

The European project ‘relating forest’, a collaboration between TheatreFragile (Germany), Cultures Eco Actives (France) and NoBa (Norway), addresses the urgent need to rethink our relationship with nature in order to tackle the climate crisis and the loss of biodiversity.

Resonanzen - Interventionsreihe

Between March and September 2021, we will create 5 interventions at 5 different locations in Detmold. We draw on different art forms to question the public space. Mask play, dance, mime, improvisation, sound collage, installation, street art. The people of Detmold are confronted with these interventions in their everyday lives and their everyday processes are scrutinised.

The project is funded by the Fonds Darstellende Künste as part of NEUSTART KULTUR #takeaction and the cultural team of the city of Detmold.

As you call into the forest...

TheatreFragile invites you to an interdisciplinary parcours through the forest in Heidental, Detmold! For the days 15.09.-19.09.21 there will be a daily time slot for visiting the course as well as a supporting programme: yoga in the forest, live music with Janko Hanushevsky, insights into wilderness education, guided tours about trees, a plant printing workshop, etc.
