Artist Lab - Stadt Land Neu

On 4 and 5 August 2023, we met in Detmold at Hangar 21 for a lab on the topic of audience evaluation. On board were Lilli Döscher, Anna-Maria Nacke, Luzie Ackers and Marianne Cornil from TheatreFragile as well as cultural scientist Katja Drews from the Zukunftszentrum Holzminden Höxter and theatre scientist Catherin Persing from Ruhr University Bochum.

2 days of reflection on the extension of the concept of audience. Who are we addressing and how do we meet? What role does localisation in public urban space play in positioning artists in relation to the audience? Who do we reach and with what sustainability/resonance?

We will report on the results of the lab shortly, including at the digital conclusion of the lab on 6 October 2023 and at the B.A.L.L in Hamburg on 20 and 21 October 2023.
